Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work 2 Bll.: Komposition (Entwurf für Metallplatten und Draht). Figur by Rudolf Belling for EUR 180.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art, Kunst nach 45 und Alte Meister at Ketterer in Munich and was even lower than the EUR 190.00 estimate set by the auction house. The estimated price for the artwork was previously set by the auction house at EUR 190.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 180.00 could thus just exceed the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Belling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Organische Formen (Schreitender) in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 75,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 2 Bll.: Komposition (Entwurf für Metallplatten und Draht). Figur von Rudolf Belling für EUR 180,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art, Kunst nach 45 und Alte Meister bei Ketterer in München erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 190,00. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 190,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 180,00 konnte den diesen somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Belling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Organische Formen (Schreitender) im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.000,00.
