Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art - Day Sale, which included the work Marakasyapa - 2012 by Ru Xiaofan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,200.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ru Xiaofan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Sans Titre, 2012 was auctioned for EUR 5,846.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art - Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marakasyapa - 2012 von Ru Xiaofan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.200,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Ru Xiaofan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2012 für EUR 5.846,00 versteigert.
