Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Roy Nockolds could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Travel and Vintage Posters auction, the work The Attack Begins In The Factory changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 583.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Roy Nockolds have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Juan Manuel Fangio Driving A Maserati 250F in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,671.11).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Roy Nockolds konnte im November 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Travel and Vintage Posters wechselte die Arbeit The Attack Begins In The Factory für GBP 500,00 (€ 583,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roy Nockolds auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Juan Manuel Fangio Driving A Maserati 250F im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.671,11).
