Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rosa Rolanda was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2011. The price achieved of USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,912.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rosa Rolanda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tehuana, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 56,700.00 (€ 52,837.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rosa Rolanda wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.912,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rosa Rolanda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tehuana beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 56.700,00 (€ 52.837,57) versteigert wurde.
