Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunflowers and Rocks by Rong Dakuai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 11,875.00 (€ 1,363.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rong Dakuai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Small Bird in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunflowers and Rocks von Rong Dakuai kam im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 11.875,00 (€ 1.363,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rong Dakuai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Small Bird im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09).
