A top price for Rong Dakuai
This artwork by Rong Dakuai achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Small Bird sold for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. This high result makes Small Bird the most expensive artwork by Rong Dakuai that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rong Dakuai erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Small Bird für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Small Bird zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Rong Dakuai, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
