Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lochinver, After Rain by Ronald Smith was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2008. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,187.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Ronald Smith have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Dubrovnik was auctioned for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,297.64).

Die Arbeit Lochinver, After Rain von Ronald Smith kam im April 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.187,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ronald Smith konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Dubrovnik für GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.297,64) versteigert.
