The work No Full Moon Above Aceh by Ronald Manullang was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,221.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ronald Manullang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work MM-Mao: Applause (from the Legend to Legend series), which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 312,500.00 (€ 30,990.14).

Die Arbeit No Full Moon Above Aceh von Ronald Manullang wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.221,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ronald Manullang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit MM-Mao: Applause (from the Legend to Legend series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 312.500,00 (€ 30.990,14) versteigert wurde.
