Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ron Kleemann could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Morning Session auction, the work Superman on Lois Lane changed hands for USD 43,750.00 (€ 34,465.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ron Kleemann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work (20/20), which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 181,000.00 (€ 123,229.85).
