Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Angel by Romuald Hazoumè was auctioned at Bonhams in July this year. The price achieved of EUR 9,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Romuald Hazoumè - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alexandra, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,497.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Angel von Romuald Hazoumè kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Romuald Hazoumè mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alexandra beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.497,54) versteigert wurde.
