Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rolph Scarlett was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 1,063.00 (€ 899.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rolph Scarlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,276.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rolph Scarlett kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.063,00 (€ 899,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rolph Scarlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.276,34).
