This artwork by Roland Sabatier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in July 2012. In the Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art auction, the work Sans Titre, 1965 sold for EUR 2,059.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roland Sabatier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Multiplication, 1966 in July 2012 with an auction result of EUR 13,514.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roland Sabatier erzielte im Juli 2012 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1965 für EUR 2.059,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Sabatier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Multiplication, 1966 im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.514,00.
