Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 20th Century Art 1950 to present, which included the work Fragmentatio - 1974 by Roland Sabatier. The price achieved of EUR 3,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Roland Sabatier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Multiplication, 1966 in July 2012 with an auction result of EUR 13,514.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fragmentatio - 1974 von Roland Sabatier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Sabatier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Multiplication, 1966 im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.514,00.
