Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage A Ussy-Sur-Marne, 1953 by Roland Bierge was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in February 2007. The price achieved of EUR 1,850.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roland Bierge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hélios - 1986, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 6,166.00.

Die Arbeit Paysage A Ussy-Sur-Marne, 1953 von Roland Bierge wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.850,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Roland Bierge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hélios - 1986 beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 6.166,00 versteigert wurde.
