Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape With Figures Outside A Wayside Inn by Roelof Jansz van Vries was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,574.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roelof Jansz van Vries - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Wooded River Landscape With Fishermen In A Boat And Hunters On A Track, A Town Beyond, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 60,250.00.

Die Arbeit Landscape With Figures Outside A Wayside Inn von Roelof Jansz van Vries wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.574,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
