Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The North Toll-Gate At Geervliet, In South Holland, With Figures Driving Sheep by Roelant Roghman was sold in the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2017. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,461.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roelant Roghman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,945.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The North Toll-Gate At Geervliet, In South Holland, With Figures Driving Sheep von Roelant Roghman wurde im Juli 2017 in der Auktion Old Master & British Works on Paper bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.461,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roelant Roghman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 49.945,32).
