Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountainous landscape with an artist sketching by Roelant Roghman was sold in the A Fine Line: Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries auction at Sothebys in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,126.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roelant Roghman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,945.32).

Die Arbeit Mountainous landscape with an artist sketching von Roelant Roghman wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion A Fine Line: Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.126,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roelant Roghman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 49.945,32).
