Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An extensive mountainous landscape with travellers on a path and a shepherd resting by a river with cattle watering by Roelant Roghman was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,590.45). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roelant Roghman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,945.32).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.590,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Roelant Roghman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting beobachtet, die im Januar 2011 für USD 68.500,00 (€ 49.945,32) versteigert wurde.
