Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work An Extensive Landscape With Figures Along A Path by Roelant Roghman for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,490.39). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roelant Roghman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting, which sold at auction in January 2011 for USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,945.32).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An Extensive Landscape With Figures Along A Path von Roelant Roghman für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.490,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roelant Roghman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rocky Landscape With A Waterfall And Two Figures Resting beobachtet, die im Januar 2011 für USD 68.500,00 (€ 49.945,32) versteigert wurde.
