Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Canale veneziano con figura in maschera by Rodolfo Paoletti was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 500.00 – 550.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 400.00. Admittedly, works by Rodolfo Paoletti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Violinist in August 2021 with an auction result of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,228.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Canale veneziano con figura in maschera von Rodolfo Paoletti im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 550,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 400,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodolfo Paoletti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of A Violinist im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.228,06).
