The work Star Gazing with Helen in the Spring: Two Parts by Rodney Ripps was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in April 2010. The auction ended at the price of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,127.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Star Gazing with Helen in the Spring: Two Parts is the most expensive artwork by Rodney Ripps that we have observed at auctions so far.
