The »bidding war« ended at GBP 720.00 (€ 1,054.00), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodney Joseph Burn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Artist'S Wife, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,002.65).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.054,00) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodney Joseph Burn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Artist'S Wife beobachtet, die im März 2007 für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 3.002,65) versteigert wurde.
