Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robin Ironside could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the A GREAT BRITISH COLLECTION: The pictures collected by Sir David and Lady Scott, sold to benefit the Finnis Scott Foundation auction, the work A Satyr Offering An Apple To A Spaniel changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 453.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robin Ironside - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Classical figures with a sacrificial altar, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 812.50 (€ 1,012.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robin Ironside konnte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
