Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Eme Pe Vii by Roberto Obregón. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 20,501.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roberto Obregón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ene Eme y Ene De in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 157,358.56).
