Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Roberto Caracciolo (B. 1960) by Roberto Caracciolo for USD 1,000.00 (€ 934.75). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Earl and Camilla McGrath at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Roberto Caracciolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 1989 in July 2004 with an auction result of USD 5,736.00 (€ 4,767.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Roberto Caracciolo (B. 1960) von Roberto Caracciolo für USD 1.000,00 (€ 934,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Earl and Camilla McGrath bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roberto Caracciolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 1989 im Juli 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.736,00 (€ 4.767,29).
