A top price for Roberto Bompiani - as previously expected
In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work Lady with a fan by Roberto Bompiani. The result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,199.75) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lady with a fan is the most expensive artwork by Roberto Bompiani that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady with a fan von Roberto Bompiani zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 28.199,75) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Lady with a fan das teuerste Kunstwerk von Roberto Bompiani, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
