Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2002 Christies in London held the auction THE SCOTTISH SALE, which included the work Highland cattle at a stream by Robert Watson. The price achieved of GBP 5,019.00 (€ 7,939.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Robert Watson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2007 the work Highland Cattle; and Highland Sheep was auctioned for USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,663.25).
