This work of art by Robert William Wright could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in November 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures including Marine pictures auction, the work Tea By The Fire changed hands for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,069.22) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert William Wright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The See Saw in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 14,937.50 (€ 23,104.93).
