Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lunchtime; And Teatime by Robert William Wright was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,042.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert William Wright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The See Saw in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 14,937.50 (€ 23,104.93).
