The work Hollyhock House by Robert Scheuerman was sold in the Insider Art: Christie’s New York Staff Show auction at Christies in New York in August last year. The price achieved of USD 504.00 (€ 500.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hollyhock House is the most expensive artwork by Robert Scheuerman that we have observed at auctions so far.
