Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Christies in Milan held the auction Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection, which included the work Two Stones by Robert Ryman. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,512.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Ryman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of USD 20,141,250.00 (€ 18,769,220.02).
