Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Circle Lithograph by Robert Ryman was sold in the Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection auction at Christies in Milan in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 1,134.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Ryman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of USD 20,141,250.00 (€ 18,769,220.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Circle Lithograph von Robert Ryman wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Un Folle Amore: The Agrati Collection bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.134,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Ryman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.141.250,00 (€ 18.769.220,02).
