Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Hawthorn branch, 1948 by Robert Rafailovich Falk. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Rafailovich Falk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with a pink fan in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,016,000.00 (€ 1,492,632.40).
