Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Double-sided drawing: Portrait of a young woman by Robert Rafailovich Falk was sold in the The Russian Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,708.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Rafailovich Falk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with a pink fan in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,016,000.00 (€ 1,492,632.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Double-sided drawing: Portrait of a young woman von Robert Rafailovich Falk wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Russian Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.708,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Rafailovich Falk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with a pink fan im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.016.000,00 (€ 1.492.632,40).
