Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Smell of Hot Coffee by Robert Pummill was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,661.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Pummill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mission Cattle in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,448.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Smell of Hot Coffee von Robert Pummill kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.661,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Pummill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mission Cattle im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.448,02).
