Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Out of the High Country by Robert Pummill was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2021. The price achieved of USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,373.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Pummill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mission Cattle in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,448.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Out of the High Country von Robert Pummill wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.080,00 (€ 3.373,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Pummill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mission Cattle im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 38.448,02).
