Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pink Dragon with Clown by Robert Nava was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. It achieved a price of HKD 304,800.00 (€ 35,688.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Nava achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Before Minotaur in October last year with an auction result of GBP 639,600.00 (€ 745,126.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pink Dragon with Clown von Robert Nava wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 304.800,00 (€ 35.688,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Nava erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Before Minotaur im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 639.600,00 (€ 745.126,92).
