Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The pyramids by moonlight; and Watercarriers at the oasis by Robert Murdoch Wright was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,729.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Murdoch Wright have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Breton girl, late from school in October this year with an auction result of EUR 7,560.00.

Die Arbeit The pyramids by moonlight; and Watercarriers at the oasis von Robert Murdoch Wright kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.729,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Murdoch Wright auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Breton girl, late from school im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.560,00.
