Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,015.75 (€ 1,461.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Robert McGowan Coventry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pittenween in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,653.89).
