In July 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Single Yellow-Green Pear by Robert Kulicke. The auction ended at the price of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,347.71), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Kulicke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zinnias In A Glass Jar On A Light Grey Background in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,068.80).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Single Yellow-Green Pear von Robert Kulicke zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.347,71) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Kulicke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zinnias In A Glass Jar On A Light Grey Background im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.068,80).
