Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Kulicke could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Two Centuries: American Art auction, the work Flowers in a Vase changed hands for USD 378.00 (€ 321.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Kulicke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zinnias In A Glass Jar On A Light Grey Background in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,068.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Kulicke konnte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Two Centuries: American Art wechselte die Arbeit Flowers in a Vase für USD 378,00 (€ 321,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Kulicke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zinnias In A Glass Jar On A Light Grey Background im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.068,80).
