Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Bords de Seine by Louis Robert Antral. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Louis Robert Antral have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Port De Toulon in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 4,845.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bords de Seine von Louis Robert Antral zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Robert Antral auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Port De Toulon im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.845,00.
