Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Meeting House by Robert Juniper was sold in the Australian, International & Contemporary Paintings Part II auction at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. The price achieved of AUD 7,767.50 (€ 4,671.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 6,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Juniper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madman's Outcamp in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,389.45).
