It achieved a price of USD 8,287.50 (€ 6,796.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 66%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Laurent; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot American Beauty sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,576.10).
