In February 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition by Robert Helman. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,487.00 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Helman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 6,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Robert Helman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.487,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Helman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.120,00.
