Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Surrealism On T. V. by Robert Heinecken for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,529.83). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Heinecken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cliché Vary/Lesbianism in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 118,914.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Surrealism On T. V. von Robert Heinecken für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.529,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Heinecken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cliché Vary/Lesbianism im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 118.914,60).
