The »bidding war« ended at CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,908.67), 27% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Harris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interior With Elizabeth Putnam, which sold at auction in November 2011 for CAD 33,000.00 (€ 24,049.06).
