A top price for Robert Gray Murray - as previously expected
The work Burwash by Robert Gray Murray was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of CAD 13,800.00 (€ 9,908.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CAD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Burwash is the most expensive artwork by Robert Gray Murray that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Burwash von Robert Gray Murray kam im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CAD 13.800,00 (€ 9.908,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CAD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Burwash das teuerste Kunstwerk von Robert Gray Murray, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
