This artwork by Robert Filliou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2019. In the COLLECTION ANNE TRONCHE - La forme d'un regard auction, the work Optimistic box No. 1 sold for EUR 1,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Filliou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Principe D'Équivalence, Création Permanente - Red Sock In Yellow Box I, Ii, Iii in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 100,688.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Filliou erzielte im Juni 2019 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion COLLECTION ANNE TRONCHE - La forme d'un regard wurde die Arbeit Optimistic box No. 1 für EUR 1.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Filliou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Principe D'Équivalence, Création Permanente - Red Sock In Yellow Box I, Ii, Iii im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 100.688,02).
