Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Tragedy by Robert Farrier for GBP 625.00 (€ 729.62). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian & British Impressionist Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Farrier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The young truant in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,539.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tragedy von Robert Farrier für GBP 625,00 (€ 729,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Farrier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The young truant im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.539,35).
